With more than 16 years of experience in the field of media and strategic communications as a television journalist, in-house communications practitioner and a consultant to global organisations – UNICEF, WHO, Global Fund to End Modern Slavery, My Choices Foundation, Open, World Vision, Humanity & Inclusion, FLSmidth, Standard Chartered and Operation Blessing – both in India and internationally, Kalpana directs the vision and the voice of Kaliru Communications.
Kalpana earned her Master’s in Communications and Journalism degree from Madurai Kamaraj University. Her specialist qualifications include Digital Communications from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and Strategic Communications for Social Impact from MICA.

Through her own venture Kintsugi Design, she helps technology companies take a critical look at their futures and uses educated risk-taking to drive change. She has held various leadership positions, including the Chief Executive Officer at Illutron, a Collaborative Interactive Arts Studio and Lead Technology Specialist at Force Technology. She is the co-founder of a feminist think tank, The Making tank. She also serves as a board member, jury member and strategic advisor to a variety of companies and organizations.

Vivian Anthony Isaac

Vivian Anthony Isaac, (Indian) brings over 37 years of experience in organisational leadership, strategic media planning, communications, programme management, fundraising and community engagement from humanitarian organisations, media houses, advertising, and communications agencies. He is a strong advocate for partnerships and is fondly known as a ‘difference-maker’ amongst his peers.
Currently, he serves as a Programme Director for the anti-trafficking wing of My Choices Foundation and works to prevent child trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of children through community engagement. Prior to this, he led Operation Blessing and CBN Foundation in India and helped prominent brands achieve their marketing objectives through effective media campaigns.
