With more than 16 years of experience in the field of media and strategic communications as a television journalist, in-house communications practitioner and a consultant to global organisations – UNICEF, WHO, Global Fund to End Modern Slavery, My Choices Foundation, Open, World Vision, Humanity & Inclusion, FLSmidth, Standard Chartered and Operation Blessing – both in India and internationally, Kalpana directs the vision and the voice of Kaliru Communications.
Kalpana earned her Master’s in Communications and Journalism degree from Madurai Kamaraj University. Her specialist qualifications include Digital Communications from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and Strategic Communications for Social Impact from MICA.

Sarah has an excellent blend of research, communication, community engagement and storytelling skills, drawing from her 10-year varied experiences across education, field research, international development and consulting roles. Her ability to connect with people, comprehend the development issues to be addressed and choose the right choice of channel to reach the unreached is what she envisages for change. Her high levels of empathy translate ideas into powerful campaigns filled with emotion that captivates people.
Sarah has well-grounded six years of education in Media Studies and earned her Ph.D., in Development Communication from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, India.
Creative + Video Production Consultant
Anurag has an extensive background in design, photography and video production. He has produced and directed public service announcements, documentaries and human impact stories for several non-governmental organisations and businesses across the globe for the past 14 years. His fresh approaches and unique perspectives transform communication challenges into humanized visual and narrative solutions.
Anurag holds Post Graduate Diploma in Film and Television Production from Xavier’s Institute of Communications, Mumbai.
Creative Design + Animation
Alexious takes sheer joy in translating concepts on paper to distinctive 2D and 3D animations to bring the story alive. He has nearly 9 years of experience in the industry and worked with well-known organisations and agencies. His emotive and perceptive storytelling approach changes the perception of the target audience on what they believe.
Alexious earned his Master degree in 3D Animation and Bachelor degree in Visual Communication from Loyola College, Chennai.
Content + Design Specialist
Suganya loves every pixel part of the design and refined her branding, design, illustration and typography skills during a decade-long career. She has a unique ability to comprehend the best of what organisations need and converts them into engaging designs that inspire and moves people.
Suganya holds a Bachelor degree in Visual Communication and a Post Graduate Diploma in Graphics and Multimedia from Bharathidhasan University, Trichy.
Anita pours her passion into projects to redefine expressions and influence behaviours. She continues to push boundaries and always finds new ways to prepare a visual narrative that fit harmoniously with the requirement.
Anita received her Master degree in 3D Animation from Loyola College, Chennai and Bachelor degree in Visual Arts from Stella Maris College, Chennai.

D. in Interaction Design and Future Technologies, and her wealth of knowledge and breadth of experience spans across art, design and technology. Through her work, she unlocks the potential of emerging technologies and shapes the future of design for a meaningful future with technology.
Through her own venture Kintsugi Design, she helps technology companies take a critical look at their futures and uses educated risk-taking to drive change. She has held various leadership positions, including the Chief Executive Officer at Illutron, a Collaborative Interactive Arts Studio and Lead Technology Specialist at Force Technology. She is the co-founder of a feminist think tank, The Making tank. She also serves as a board member, jury member and strategic advisor to a variety of companies and organizations.

Vivian Anthony Isaac
Programme Director, My Choices Foundation
Vivian Anthony Isaac, (Indian) brings over 37 years of experience in organisational leadership, strategic media planning, communications, programme management, fundraising and community engagement from humanitarian organisations, media houses, advertising, and communications agencies. He is a strong advocate for partnerships and is fondly known as a ‘difference-maker’ amongst his peers.
Currently, he serves as a Programme Director for the anti-trafficking wing of My Choices Foundation and works to prevent child trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of children through community engagement. Prior to this, he led Operation Blessing and CBN Foundation in India and helped prominent brands achieve their marketing objectives through effective media campaigns.
